Fully
equipped modern cottages that make you feel right at home
here in the tranquil wilderness of The Viking Trail.
The
resort offers all modern convenience in comfortable two-
bedroom
housekeeping cottages. They include fully-equipped kitchen
and bathroom facilities, and a double sofa-bed in the living
area. Bedding, towels and soap area all included. Kitchens
are equipped with full-sized refrigerator and stove, dishes
and cookware, including toaster, kettle and coffee pot. Some
cottages have a microwave oven and all have television. A
propane barbecue is also provided for our guest.
Our
RV Park is located just 16 miles (29 km) north of Gros Morne
National Park and it is equipped with a 3 way hook-up and 30
amp service.
Our
guest can accommodate themselves in our newly developed
RV Park. The park has all of the services
to conveniently make your stay more pleasurable. From here you
are only a short distance to many major attractions along the
Viking Trail including Gros Morne National Park.
In
Northern Newfoundland there are limited parks that offer full
service to those traveling in Recreational Vehicles. At Mountain
Waters Resort, our goal is to provide tourist with
convenient lodging no matter how they decide to travel.
Our
campground includes over 50 secluded wooded and river front
campsites. We have 30 sites which offer 30 amp electrical hook-ups.
Each site has a picnic table and fire pits with a grate. Clean
toilets and water are located throughout the campground and
hot showers are located behind the main lodge.
Reservations
are strongly recommended for weekend stays with campers welcome
to stay on a daily basis as well. Master Card and Visa are accepted.
Site registration is for one family (2 adults plus children)
or 4 adults with no more than 2 tents and one car per site.
There
are a minimum number of sites which can accommodate two cars
with a $3.00 per day fee for the extra car. Management must
be notified of the extra car at time of reservation. Check-out
time is 2:00 PM. Guests wishing to visit campers must register
at the campground office.
Pet
Policy: Pets are currently welcome at Mountain Waters Resort.
Pets must be on a leash or tied in campsite at all times.
