 Mountain
Waters Resort is located adjacent to the Portland Creek River
System which is ranked the second best Atlantic Salmon River in
Newfoundland. This river has been fished by many famous Sportsmen
including world reknown American "Lee Wulff".
Miles of
streams and tributaries flow into this great system which provides
an outlet to the Atlantic Ocean for many species of fish. The
most popular being the Atlantic Salmon which provides an exceptional
challenge to the most experienced of anglers. 
Many Atlantic
Salmon are taken here each year that are at the maximum size limit
(62cm) for the province. Due to increased conservation efforts
by governments in recent years, the numbers of Atlantic Salmon
returning to the system is increasing annually, as is the average
size of fish.
Our Weekly
package price per person is $1200 (US). A deposit of $200/person
will confirm your booking (non-refundable). If you are interested
in planning a fishing vacation, please notify us and we will
forward all information pertaining to rules and regulations
governing Salmon and Trout fishing in Newfoundland.
Mountain
Waters Resort rates for a seven (7) day stay at the resort is
all inclusive and provides you with good down-home cooking,
accommodations, licence and guide service.
